Ezra died at "Black Rock", which laid within what's now the city limits of Buffalo, Erie County, New York, during the War of 1812.
We believe he is most likely buried here but without a headstone. He left a wife and one daughter, who was blind from the day of her birth, at the time of his death.
Ezra will stay here with his wife Temperance and daughter Esther, for now.
Have not confirmed his actual place of burial at this time. As of this date, Ezra Whitney dying in 1812 has not been entered in any cemetery listed here on Find A Grave.
