Mrs. Ruby A. Spier, age 92, of Thomaston, died Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at The Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon.

Mrs. Spier was born on November 22, 1922 in Hayward Ok, to the late William and Etta Belle Ohls Edgar. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Spier was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Mr. Joseph T. Spier Jr.

Survivors include her son Mr. Stoney T. Spier of Thomaston Ga, sister Mrs. Henrietta (Jim) Becker of Perry Ok.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday March 20, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in New Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Coggins Funeral Home on Thursday March 19, 2015 from 6-8 p.m.
