She was the daughter of Jesse Boyd and Margaret (Woods) Warren. Eleanor was one of the five children born to the Warrens in a sod house on the Walsh County Dakota prairie.
Her sister Margaret married Robert Zaloudek, a Medina widower, in 1944. Robert was on the board of the Bellevue Masons. Margaret (Warren) Zaloudek had become the owner of the cemetery property which she sold to the Masons in about 1955. The Masons wanted the property for a temple site but neighborhood opposition convinced them to look elsewhere and thus the property was sold.
Eleanor was removed to Acacia Memorial Park in March of 1949 with her father.
