Spirit of Democracy, Woodsfield, Ohio dated June 12, 1888
Died, May 3d, 1888, of lung fever, Grace Evaline, daughter of C. M. And H. J. Blowers, aged 1 year, 4 months and 8 days. Eva was a bright and lovely child beloved by all who knew her, but the reaper came and plucked the bright flower from earth to be transplanted to the fair climes of endless bliss and glory to bloom forever in the paradise of God; and while a cloud of sadness seems to hover over the bereaved household, yet they sorrow not as those who bare no hope, for Jesus says “suffer little children to come unto me and forbid them not for of such is the kingdom of Heaven.” Then weep not for little Eva, she has gone to rest. Gone to dwell with the angels and be forever blessed. The family have the sympathy of the entire community in their sad bereavement.
