Dr. Wesley M. Adams

Dr. Wesley M. Adams, a well-known physician and much respected citizen, died at 9 o'clock Tuesday morning of pneumonia at his home in Schenevus. His illness, which at first was of influenza, was of only one week's duration. The funeral , which was private, was held at his late residence at 3:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon. The Rev. R.S. Boyce officiated and the body of Dr. Adams was taken to Pabins for interment.

Dr. Adams was born September 26, 1887, in Syracuse, his parents being Rev. Walter S. and Georgianna Adams. After graduating from High School he entered the Albany medical college in 1909, graduating therefrom in 1913. He began the practice of medicine in that year and in December of last year moved to Schenevus, where he was rapidly building up an extensive practice. He was a man of strictest integrity, a loyal member of the Methodist Episcopal church and in every way a man much loved respected. The sympathy of all go out to the bereaved wife and other member of his immediate family.

The deceased is survived by his wife, formerly Miss ruby E. Jewison of Port Hope, Canada, and by his mother and one brother, Rev. Charles N. Adams, both of Exeter. He was a member of the Schenevus Masonic lodge, of the Order of Easter Star and of the official board of the Schenevus Methodist Episcopal church.
