On April 29, 1988, he married Pam (Honeywell) Heater. Terry was a veteran of the US Army serving during the Vietnam War. A life time member of the Elwood VFW. Terry was retired from Wal-Mart Distribution Center of Gas City.
Terry is survived by his Wife, of 27 years, Pam Heater of Alexandria, two Sons, Chuck Heater of Alexandria, and Adam Heater of Elwood, four Daughters, Tina Hershey and Tammy Lane both of Elwood, Amber Conners and Terri Bolen both of Wabash, eleven grandchildren.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Virgil and Harold Heater, two grandchildren, Zachary and Tommy Heater.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 am Friday, March 20, 2015 at Dunnichay Funeral Home, Elwood. Burial will follow in Forrestville Cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by the US Army and the Elwood VFW American Honor Guard. Visitation will be Friday from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
