HARTSVILLE - Mrs. Minnie Johnson Kitchen, 80, widow of Sam Kitchen, died Thursday in an Aiken hospital after a long illness.
Born in Chesterfield County, she was a daughter of the late Sam and Joretta Burr Johnson.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Clarence Lee Stogner Jr., Mrs. John T. Braddock and Mrs. Charles Lyles of Hartsville and Mrs. Ray Williams of Provo, Utah; three sons, Allen Kenneth and Cecil Ray Winburn of Hartsville and Charles Winburn of Aiken, 29 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
Brown-Pennington-Atkins Funeral Home is in charge.
