MR. BAILEY

LANETT -- Mr. Melvin (Bunk) Bailey, 79, of Lanett died Thursday, April 18. 1996, at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika.

Funeral services were held Saturday, April 20 at 3 p.m. at Jackson Memorial Baptist Church in LaFayette with the Rev. Mark McIntyre officiating. Burial followed in LaFayette Cemetery.

Mr. Bailey is survived by his wife, Wylma Bailey of Lanett; and two sisters, Annie Oliver and Tiny Gibson, both of Valley.

Born Aug. 25, 1916, in Chambers County, Mr. Bailey was a member of Jackson Memorial Baptist Church. He was a retired textile employee.

Sanders Funeral Home in LaFayette handled arrangements.
