Donnie Ray Aaron, 64, of Aubrey, TX, passed away on Monday March 16, 2015 at Countryside Nursing and Rehab Center. He was born July 6, 1950 in Pilot Point, to Ernest Leo and Annie Elizabeth (Owens) Aaron. He was married to Shirley Nuckels on March 19, 1987 in Aubrey. He worked as a Detention Officer for the Denton County sheriff’s office. Mr. Aaron is survived by his wife, Shirley Aaron of Denton, daughter Angie Aaron of Ft Worth, step daughter Camille Thompson of Aubrey, Step sons Kevin Craig of Saginaw and Camden Craig of Tallahassee FL, twelve grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He is predeceased by a brother David Aaron and sister Sue Bullard. A graveside funeral service will be held at the Pilot Point Community Cemetery on Friday, March 20, 2015, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Samuel Nuckels officiating.
