Blanche Loretta (Humphrey) Kutcher, 106, died March 17, 2015, at the Clark County Nursing Home in Kahoka, MO.

She was born January 20, 1909, to Sarah (Sally) Virginia Page and Joseph Olonzo Humphrey in St. Louis, MO. She married Albert Adam Kutcher December 24, 1927, in Princeton, MO. To this union two daughters were born: Esther Marie (Harley) Weaver and Dorothy Jean (Keith) Muntz.

Blanche was a preacher's daughter and she often talked of revivals and living with a traveling preacher. She joined Albert, Keith, and Dorothy in operating Muntz and Kutcher Grocery Store in Farmington. When she and Al retired to the country, she loved gardening, flowers, raising calves and sheep. She enjoyed working at Riders Nursery bunching plants with the girls.

Blanche was a member of the Farmington United Methodist Church, was active in church groups: teaching Sunday school, playing the piano in church and was a member of WSCS, PEO, Farmington Cemetery Association and a charter member of Farmington Bible Study.

She was an accomplished seamstress, quilter and crafter throughout her life. All of the children and grandchildren enjoyed the quilts Grandma Kutcher made. She hosted many New Years Eve parties for the grandkids and gave many of them piano lessons. She loved getting all dolled” up and going out to eat or visit with her family.

Besides her daughter, Esther, she is survived by seven grandchildren: Debbie (Chuck) Slifer of Sterling, IL, Barbie (Paul) O'Day of Kahoka, MO, Janet Millen of Columbia, MO; Steve (Caryn) of Kahoka, MO.; Kathy (Ross) O'Day of Farmington; Kent (Lesa) Muntz of Burlington, IA, Curt (Sue) Muntz of Muscatine, IA.

Also surviving are 18 great-grandchildren: Kristin (Adam) Pena, Michael (Anna) O'Day, Amy O'Day, Clayton Millen, Jennifer Millen (Jake Pogrotsky), Andrew Millen, Greg Weaver, John (Cari) Weaver, Jeff (Britni) Weaver, Lisa (TJ) Duncan, Kristi (Dave) Bruner, Clint (Tami) O'Day, Kaci (Jesse) Goldstein, Kristopher and Mason Muntz, Amanda, Rebecca, and Adam Muntz and 23 great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
