William A. Hamilton Sr., was born Dec. 19, 1896 in Weir, Kansas, son of Mrs. Alex Hamilton, who survives. In June 1932, he married Miss Beatrice Shain, daughter of Judge and Mrs. Hopkins S. Shain. William died Monday in Aurora, Ill., following a heart attack at the age of 55 years.
His son William Jr., died of a heart attack on Oct. 27, 1951 in Mason City, Iowa. William Sr. is survived by his mother, his daughter Margaret Hamilton, two grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. P. K. Finnegan. - Sedalia Democrat - Tuesday, December 18, 1951 pg.6
