Mrs. Maxwell was born December 5, 1918, in Rosebud to Bert and Frankie Marx Bagley. She married Homer D. Maxwell Sr. and was manager of the Goodwill Thrift Store in Temple for several years. She was a Baptist and was a member of the Queen of the Prairie Civic Club in Lott.
She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, Frank James Maxwell, two grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Survivors include two sons, two daughters, one sister, Margie Dale Nixs of Waco, and one sister in law, 13 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 18 great great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Scott and White Hospice.
Visitation was held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
