Gilberto R. "Chico" Aguirre, 56, passed away in a motorcycle accident near his home in Salt Lake City, Utah on Oct 4, 2014. He was born May 10, 1958 and grew up in Winters, where he attended Winters High School, then joined the marines. He is survived by two daughters, Estre;;a Marie Lopez and Crystal Marie Aguirre, one son, Gilberto Lopez Aguirre Jr; yjree precious grandchildren Daniel Francisco Lopez, Eddie Pinzon Jr. and Jadis-Angel Marie Urzua; three beautiful sisters Susana R. Atkinson, Elsa A. Evans, and Brunilda E. Aguirre; numerous nieces and nephews and cousins. Gilberto was preceded in death by his grandmother, Soledad R. Ramirez; father, Agapito M. Aguirre; mother Ignacia R. Aguiirre and uncle Jose F. Ramirez. A celebration of life for Gilberto will be held at St. Anthony Parish hall on Sunday Oct. 19 at noon with a reception following at 407 Baker street in Winters. Thank you for all your love and support The Aguirre Family. Gilberto, aka Chico will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
