She was the widow of Bellsario Abbatematteo.
Born in Newark, N.J., she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Alexsandria (Abramowitz) Skomin. A former Smithfield resident, she had lived in Providence 14 years.
She leaves a son, Ben B. Abbatematteo of Glocester; two brothers, John and Walter Skomin, both of Providence; a sister, Isabelle Plante of Smithfield; 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be Wednesday at 8 a.m. from The Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 at St. Joseph's Church, Main Street, North Scituate. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
