Yvonne Marie “Lil Indian” Marcou, 61, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2015, in Prescott.
She lived in Prescott since 1991, formerly of Flint. Yvonne was born on Nov. 12, 1953, to Keith and Alta Marcou in Flint. She enjoyed going to garage sales, gambling, going to the casino, antiquing and reading. Yvonne was a very proud Native American of the Ojibwa and Potawatomi tribes.
Yvonne is survived by her daughters, Angela (Richard) Kinder of Burton and Kristy (Tommy) Farnsworth of West Branch; grandchildren, Zachery and Jeremiah Kinder and Landen and Logan Farnsworth; spouse, Arnold Haney of Prescott; and brothers, Charles Marcou of West Virginia and Gaylord Marcou of Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Kenneth, Wallace and Edward Marcou; mother, Alta Mae Marcou; and father, Keith Wallace Marcou.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2015, at 1 p.m. at the Faith Tabernacle Church, 1225 S. Center, Burton, MI 48509. Memorial contributions may be made to Angela Kinder or Kristy Farnsworth.
