J. H. Craghead Dies In Brigham
Brigham City, Jan. 30-Joseph Hyrum Craghead, 80, 0f Sixth West and First South, retired farmer, died at his home Sunday following a three-year illness.
He was born in Provo Oct. 3, 1858, a son of John and Martha Furgenson Craghead. He was raised and educated in Brigham City and married Jane Sylvester Godfrey Nov. 29, 1884, in Brigham City. He was a member of the L. D. S. Church and an elder in the Second Ward.
He is survived by the following children, Mary M. Granin, San Bernadino, Calif.; Harriet Pemberton, Oroiso, Calif.; Samuel S. Craghead, Salt Lake City; Eliza J. Craghead, John Thomas Craghead, Mrs. Dorazilla Day and William H. Craghead and Mrs. Lilly Poulsen, all of Brigham City; 37 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the family home Tuesday and Wednesday until hour of services which will be held Wednesday at one p.m. in the L. D. S. Second ward chapel under direction of Bishop Carlos Cederholm. Burial will be in Brigham City cemetery under direction of Larkin-Felt.
