Edwin Puttonen, 79, Cotton, died Saturday, Oct.21, 1995, in Chris Jenson Nursing Home. He was born in Sebeka. He lived in the Cotton area most of his life.
He married Jennie Marie Sallila on Oct. 21, 1950. He was a logger for Halverson Tree Co. for 17 years until it's closing in 1975.
His parents were Nestor and Hilja Johnson Puttonen.
He is survived by his wife,Jennie; four daughters, Jean Aaberg of Minneapolis, Sandra Cherrington of Duluth, Sharon Puttonen of Bloomington,Minn., and Nancy Flaada of Hammond, Minn.;four sons, Richard, David and Michael, all of Cotton, and Bryan of Windsor,MO.: a brother, Arvid of Bovey; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
