FAIRMOUNT TWP. — Fannie E. Kocher, 95, resident of Fairmount Township, Sweet Valley, passed away March 13, 2015, at her home.

She was born April 11, 1919, in Bethel Hill, Fairmount Township, a daughter of the late Ralph and Frances Dohl Harvey.

Fannie was a member of the Fairmount United Methodist Church. She was employed for many years at Consolidated Cigar Co., Berwick.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Kocher Sr.; and sons. Walter Jr. and Ralph.

Surviving are daughters, Melva Boyle, Warminster, and Sandra Remphrey, Sweet Valley; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at noon Tuesday at the Clarke Piatt Funeral Home Inc., 6 Sunset Lake Road, Hunlock Creek. The Rev. Michael Bodek, her pastor, will officiate. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of the services. Interment will be in Bethel Hill Cemetery, Sweet Valley.

Contributions in memory of Mrs. Kocher may be made to Fairmount United Methodist Church, Benton, or Bethel Hill United Methodist Church, Bethel Hill Road, Sweet Valley.
