Margaret C. Bealer of Howlett Hill passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at The Centers At St. Camillus. She was born in Syracuse to Edwin S. and Emma R. Jerome. She graduated from Cherry Road School, Solvay High School, and CCBI. She worked at Community Chest and retired as secretary at Marcellus Central School. Connie was active in Home Bureau, Marcellus Grange, Onondaga County Pomona Grange, and NYS Grange, holding many offices. She married C. James "Jim" Bealer August 18, 1945 and had four children. Survivors: her children, Jamie Dunbar, Bonnie M. (Charles) Morrow, James E. (Denice) Bealer, and Candyce B. (Kim) McArdle. Connie had 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; several nieces and a nephew. She was predeceased by her husband; two grandsons; and a son-in-law. Services: 4 p.m. Sunday at Tindall Funeral Home. Calling hours will be 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday prior to the service at the funeral home, 1921 W. Genesee St., Syracuse. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Howlett Hill Fire Department, 3384 Howlett Hill Rd., Syracuse, NY 13215.
