In ill-health for four years, Mr. Bailey had worked 18 years at Duncan Electric Co. as an inspector until July, when he was forced to retire due to his health. He served in the Navy during World War II, and was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.
Surviving with his wife are two sons, Craig Ray and Kevin Lee, both at home; his mother, Mrs. Jane Hazel Bailey of New Richmond; two brothers, Warren Edward Bailey of New Richmond and Donald W. Bailey of Lafayette; and three sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Ryan of Bloomington, Mrs. Thelma Smith of Lafayette, and Mrs. Norma Matricia of White Sands, NM.
