Billy Joe Johnson age 64 of Morgantown Ky passed away Thursday July 1, 2010 at his residence. He was a Butler County native, son of the late Leonard and Martha Phelps Johnson and a retired coal miner.He was also preceeded in death by one brother L.J. Johnson and one sister Mary Bannon. Billy Joe Johnson is survived by one son Jeremy Joe Johnson and wife Jennifer of Morgantown Ky., one grandson Dakota Johnson of Morgantown Ky., five sisters Meda Brown, Jane Lindsey and husband JC, Barbara Hatcher and husband David all of Morgantown Ky.,Margie Johnson of Bowling Green Ky.,and Sarah Skaggs of Brownsville Ky. two brothers Sonny Johnson and wife Janette and Wayne Johnson both of Morgantown Ky Funeral services will be held on Saturday July 3, 2010 at 1:00 pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel with burial in the Hill Haven Memory Gardens.
