Wayne Eugene Farrar, 68, San Diego, California, died Sunday September 20, 1987 in a San Diego hospital. He was born June 8, 1919 in Blue Rapids, Kansas, the son of Theron H. Farrar and Alice Ethel Fincham Farrar.
He graduated from Blue Rapids High School in 1937. He enjoyed and lettered in most sports while in high school.
He moved to California in 1940 and joined the U. S. Navy in 1944. He was discharged in 1948. He worked for 32 years at the Naval Station in San Diego, California.
He was married to Billie June Foster in January 1948 in California. She survives.
Other survivors were two son, Bob Wayne Farrar, Arizona and Gary Eugene Farrar, San Diego; a daughter Lori Gayle Farrar, San Diego; 4 grandchildren and several cousins in this area.
