James D. Stem Sr, 50, of Fort Smith, Arkansas died Wednesday, March 31, 1993, at a Fort Smith hospital. He was a press operator for Weldon, Williams and Lick, a member of First Freewill Baptist Church and Fort Smith Police Reserves and was a Fort Smith Church League baseball coach.

Funeral services were held Friday at First Freewill Baptist Church in Fort Smith with burial at Forest Park Cemetery in Fort Smith.

He is survived by his wife; two daughters; one son; one sister; one brother; and one grandson.

Honorary pallberers were the Fort Smith Police Reserve.

Arrangements were made by Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith.
