"James Renwick Bonde, 82, died on March 10, 2015. He was born in Elmhurst, Illinois. He attended Glenbard High School and Grinnell College and graduated from the University of Illinois, where he was a member of Chi Phi fraternity and cadet leader of his ROTC group. In the United States Air Force, he was a navigator and navigation instructor. He was founder and president of Advance Wire Products and of Klimp Industries. He served as an elder in both First Presbyterian Church and Southminster Presbyterian Church, Glen Ellyn, and was a board member of the Medical Benevolence Foundation and the Central DuPage Counseling Center. As a private pilot, he held instrument, commercial, multi-engine and sea plane ratings and loved flying his plane. Other avid interests included woodworking, photography and travel."
