Shreveport, LA - Funeral services for Kenneth Allen Kimbrell, 80, will be held 12 noon Friday, March 13, 2015 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Officiating will be Dr. Mike Hawkins. Interment will follow in Forest Park West Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 12, 2015 at the funeral home.

Mr. Kimbrell was born December 18, 1934 in Wortham, Texas and passed away March 10, 2015. He was a resident of Shreveport, Louisiana. He was a electrician for 31 years and later became a car wash owner with locations in Shreveport and Bossier City. He was a faithful member of Woodridge Baptist church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, JoAnn Kimbrell; father, William McKinley Kimbrell; mother, Laura Mae Bunch; sister, Katie Mae Burleson; brothers, Donnie Ray Kimbrell, Lonnie Kimbrell; and sister, Lela Margaret Spencer. Left to cherish his memory are his loving sons, Bradley A. Kimbrell and Kenneth D. Kimbrell; siblings, Lela Belle Erwin, Maude Dean Caldwell, Johnnie Kimbrell, Annie Marie Doan, and Thomas Roscoe Kimbrell.

Honoring Kenneth as pallbearers will be Alton Johnson, Jimmy Shelton, John Coleman, Murray Avant, Butch Cella, and Bobby Mangham.
