Lyle David Magness was born on March 23rd, 1889 in Oregon to parents David Lorenzo and Anne (Jaquette) Magness. There was a total of six children in the Magness family: Estella, Myrtle, Lyle, John, Amelia, and Ruby Magness.

There was some proof that Lyle David Magness may have been married to a woman name Opal. If true, the marriage would have taken place about 1905 in Oregon.

Lyle David Magness was united into marriage with Myrtle Ora Vincent on March 22nd, 1917, in Medford, Oregon. Myrtle was born on August 17, 1900. The couple had for children together: Myrtle Joyce Magness born January 3rd, 1919, Lyle William Magness born March 25th, 1921, John Leo Magness born August 1923, and Donald David Magness born September 18th, 1924. The latter two children John and Leo both died in infancy.

In addition, Myrtle Ora Vincent Magness died On July 2nd, 1925, at the age of 25 years old...it was customary in this era that if the mother of a family was to pass away that the remaining childred would be move to the closest relatives with a family setting. Lyle william and Myrtle Joyce were sent to live with Aurthur and Anne (Jaquette) Magness.

Lyle David Magness remained on his own until his death on November 13th, 1933, at the age of 44 years old. Mr. Magness was buried at the Linkeville cemetery in Klamath Falls, Oregon, Klamath County.
Lyle was interned with his with his beloved wife Myrtle, and adored infant sons' John and David in his final resting place. Let this family come together and find infinity in the comfort of the Lord's Kingdom where all shall live in love and free spirit forever more. Amen.

Mr. Magness is survived by his granddaughters' Betsy Vest of Merlin, Oregon, and Lyla Kaye of Moline, Illinois. Great-Grand daughter Tiffany (Kaye) Otero of Bettendof, Iowa and Great-Great-Grand children Lydia, Sylvia, and John.
In addition, the family of his only daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Joyce Magness Harkins, Oregon, as well.
