He was first united in marriage to Ida Marie Pyles, d/o Frank & Rosella (Klink) Pyles, on 2-27-1918, Preble County, Ohio by Rev. Albert Beachler. To bless this union, one known child was born: Marion Beachler. This marriage ended in divorce.

He was then united in marriage to Nellie G (Shew) Bisch, daughter of Franklin Shew & Augusta (Trenton) Smith, on April 22, 1937, Preble County, Ohio, Rev. Ivan R. Smith officiating. This marriage ended without issue.
