MOUNT PLEASANT -- Services were held Saturday, July 05, at Ursenbach Funeral Home for Eva BOHNE, 89, who died July 01, 1997, at Richfield Care Center from a stroke.
She was born December 12, 1907, to Byron and Mary Jane BOHNE in Clover Valley, Nevada.
She spent her younger days in Ruby Valley where she attended scvhool and spent summers as a cook on various ranches, and helped Mr. and Mrs. George Smith cook for the hay crew.
During wartime she moved to Mount Pleasant to help her father on the farm and worked in a sewing factory.
Her big delight in life was crocheting and raising a beautiful big glower garden on the farm.
She is survived by one brother, Oscar BOHNE, Syracuse, new York; one sister, Ethel Van DerDUSSEN, Elko, Nevada; and a nephew Thadd Van DerDUSSEN, Elko, Nevada.
