Donna M. Mitchell was born March 7, 1928 to Leon and Ethel (Simmons) Mitchell in Martin County, Minnesota. She grew up in Martin County and graduated from Trimont High School in 1946. On January 24, 1948, she was united in marriage to Vernon C. Adamson at Sherburn, Minnesota. After their marriage, they settled in Mountain Lake, Minnesota and in 1993 they moved to Stevens Point, Wisconsin. She was active in her church communities in Mountain Lake and Stevens Point. Donna greatly enjoyed flower gardening and loved to be with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Donna died on Wednesday evening, February 1, 2006 at St. Michaels Hospital, in Stevens Point, Wisconsin at the age of seventy-seven years.
Survivors include her husband, Vernon Adamson of Stevens Point, Wisconsin; daughter, Beverly Sirvio and her husband, James, of Stevens Point, Wisconsin; two sons, Wayne Adamson and his wife, Ruth, of Springfield, Minnesota and Jerald Adamson and his wife, Kathy, of Vadnais Heights, Minnesota; sister, Lucille Allen of Brainerd, Minnesota; brother, Kenneth Mitchell of rural Mountain Lake, Minnesota; eight grandsons, Scott, Eric and Joel Adamson, Ryan and Brent Sirvio, Samuel, Hans and August Adamson; four great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews and other relatives.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Earl and Malvin Mitchell; one grandchild; a daughter-in-law, Paula; and other relatives.
