MOUNT PLEASANT - Services were held January 05 in Mount Pleasant for Boyd W. "Dutch" HAFEN, 73, who died January 02, 1982 in Mount Pleasant. He was born June 12, 1908 in Mount Pleasant to Wilford F. and Carrie Nielsen HAFEN. Married Johannah MADSEN, June 10, 1931 in Mount Pleasant.
He was employed at Kennecott Copper for 20 years, and was a farmer and stock raiser. Member of the LDS Church.
Survivors: wife, Mount Pleasant, two daughters, Mrs. Gordon (JoAnn) GRANGER, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Kenneth (Dona) PULHAM, Orem; thirteen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; brother, Neil N. HAFEN, Mount Pleasant. Preceded in death by a son Michael B. HAFEN.
Burial was in Mount Pleasant City Cemetery under the direction of Ursenbach Funeral Home.
