Allie Thomas, 101, a resident of Heritage Village South, died Saturday. Services will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home. The Rev. William Doran will officiate. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery...
Mrs. Thomas was born Sept. 7, 1882, in Seward County, the daughter of George and Mary Mauer Bridenball. She grew up and received her education in rural Seward County. She married Frank Thomas on April 12, 1906, at Beaver Crossing. They lived in Grand Island. Mr. Thomas died in 1956. She was a member of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Lila Rasmussen of Grand Island; a son, Virgil of Sacramento, Calif., five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers.
