OCALA - Betty B. Green, 83, a retired registered nurse, died Monday, Feb. 2, 2004 at Ocala Regional Medical Center.
A native of Carolina, W.Va., she came here from New Carlisle, Ohio in 1976. She was a member of St. Paul’s Methodist Church. She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star. She loved to travel, fish and go to garage sales.
She served in the U.S. Army Nursing Corps during World War II.
Survivors include her nephews, Frank H. Brooks III, Titusville; Stephen L. Brooks, Jefferson, Md.; nieces, Diane Lokai, New Carlisle, Ohio; Tammy Brooks Jackson, Dania, sisters-in-law, Roberta McCray, Ocala; and Audrey Brooks, Morgantown, W. Va.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Deward C. Green; brothers Frank H. Brooks; and George Brooks.
