Agnes M Corn, 611 Vance, 70, died at Good Samaritan Hospital on Saturday at 6:25 a.m. She had been in poor health for several months. The funeral will be at Poindexter-Hall & McClure Funeral Home, Washington, Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be at Sugarland Memory Gardens. The Rev Randy Sapp will officiate. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. She was born on Nov 16, 1925 in Pike County to Oness and Lottie (Capehart) Russell. She married Carl Corn on July 7, 1995, and he survives. Corn retired in 1988 from the Washington Nursing Center after 15 years of service. She was a Church of the Nazarene member. Surviving are her husband, a son, David Shelton, Freetown; tow daughters, Edna Shelton Edwards and Mrs John R (Linda Shelton) Copeland, both of Washington; two step-daughters, Mrs Larry (Donna) Horrall and Wilma Fuller , both of Monroe City; a sister, Dorothy Archbold, Vincennes; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; six step-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Vople RUssel, Lloyd Russell, James Russell and Amon Russell.
