A Mass of Christian Burial for Anthony G. Trunzo, a former Carborundum Co. employee, will be offered at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Peter's Catholic Church, 600 Center St., Lewiston. Prayers will be said at 9:30 in Hardison Funeral Home, North Fourth & Ridge streets.

Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston.

Trunzo, 68, of Pletcher Road died Tuesday (Dec. 10, 1991) in Mount St. Mary's Hospital, Town of Lewiston, after a lengthy illness.

Born in Rossiter, Pa., he lived in Lewiston for 40 years. He worked for the Carborundum Co. in Niagara Falls as a shipping department supervisor for 44 years, retiring in 1982.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, where he was an usher and a member of its Holy Name Society. Trunzo was a Boy Scout leader of Troop No. 34 and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his wife, the former Lillian R. Farace; his mother, Tressa (Pugliese) Trunzo of the Town of Niagara; three daughters, Judith Ginnane of Clarence, Jane Eichhorn of Amherst and Maria Knack; two sons, Russell of the Town of Niagara and Douglas of Ransomville; one brother, John of Sewickley, Pa.; a sister, Virginia Trunzo Perry of Niagara Falls, and seven grandchildren.
