Port Gibson, Black River Bridge, Champion's Hill, MS where the regiment lost nearly half its number engaged as killed and wounded, the failed suicidal frontal assault of Ft Beauregard at Vicksburg and the long siege of Vicksburg that followed, battles of Missionary Ridge, Lookout Mountain, Chattanooga in 1863 , siege of Atlanta, GA, Sherman's March to the Sea in 1864, the Carolina's Campaign Grand Review Washington D.C.
