Funeral services for Mildred K. Kanak, 72, of Rosenberg, are scheduled for Friday at 10 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Rosenberg. Officiating will be Monsignor Robert Barzyk. Burial will follow at the Greenlawn Memorial Park. A rosary will be recited Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Davis-Dawson Funeral Home in Rosenberg.
Kanak, a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters, died late Tuesday at Southwest Memorial Hospital in Houston.
Survivors include sons, Alton and his wife, Sandra Kanak, and Thomas Kanak of Rosenberg; sisters, Willie Lee Heger of Weimar and Alice Class of Columbus; and grandchildren, Rachelle, Shannon, and Alex Kanak, all of Rosenberg.
Friends may call the Davis Dawson Funeral Home. Services were under the direction of Davis-Dawson Funeral Home.
