Craig Anderson Takes Own Life Cambridge Home Body Found in His Garage With Bullet Through Left Temple CAMBRIDGE, O., June 15-Craig Anderson, 58, committed suicide sometime late Wednesday afternoon by shooting himself through the left temple, the bullet going through his head and lodging under the skin on the right side of his skull. Death is believed to have been instantaneous. The body was found in a garage in the rear of his home, 919 Clark street, by members of his family family at 5:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon. A .32 calibre pistol, with one empty shell, was found lying on the floor by his side. Members of his family were not aware of the tragedy until he failed to appear for the evening meal. Knowing that he had entered the garage earlier in the afternoon his wife went to the place to investigate and found the body. A physician was hastily summoned and on arrival declared the victim had been dead about 30 minutes. No report was heard when the gun was discharged, it was said. The body was removed to the McMillen and Scott Funeral home where it was viewed by Coroner Robbins, of Buffalo. It was said an inquest will be held Thursday morning. Mr. Anderson was well known in Muskingum and Guernsey counties and for several years was a letter carrier in Cambridge, but recently had conducted a creamery in New Concord. Relatives were unable to give a reason for his rash act, except that for the past few weeks he had been in failing health. The news of is death was a great shock to relatives and friends. The deceased was a member of the First Presbyterian church at Cambridge and is survived by his widow and two daughters, Miss Lucille Anderson at home, and Mrs. Thomas Rice of Cambridge. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
