Betty Ann Hopp, 83 of Donnellson, Iowa passed away Friday, July 25, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. at Keokuk Area Hospital.

Born August 23, 1930 in Golden, Illinois the daughter of Emil and Anna (Adams) Schoch. On November 16, 1949 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Carthage, Illinois she married William Wayne "Bill" Hopp. He preceded her in death on January 18, 2010.

Survivors include three sons: Bruce (Jill) Hopp of Donnellson, Iowa, Douglas (Melissa) Hopp of Donnellson, Iowa and John (Tammy) Hopp of Donnellson, Iowa, one daughter: Marsha (Walter) Eid of Fort Madison, Iowa, ten grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and nine step great-grandchildren. Also surviving is one sister Jean Ikerd of Carthage, Illinois, one brother-in-law Walter (Opal) Hopp of Hemet, California and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bill, one great-grandson, one sister and one brother.

Betty was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Donnellson. She enjoyed playing cards, gardening, visiting with others and playing with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
