of Kentucky Artist
Edward F. Brenner, 81, of 1323 Debarr, died today at St. Joseph Infirmary. He retired 10 years ago after 50 years as an architect with the firm, Myer & Brenner. He was one of the designers of the Old Kentucky House on the State Fairgrounds.
Mr. Brenner was the son of the late Carl C. Brenner, Bavarian-born artist who specialized in landscapes featuring beech trees. Several of his paintings are owned by the J. B. Speed Art Museum.
Surviving, sister, Mrs. May Lawler; brother, the Rev. Henry Brenner, O.S.B.., St. Meinrad, Ind. Services, 10 a.m. Monday, Bohlsen’s Chapel; St. Louis Cemetery.
