Born Feb. 3, 1930, in Franklin, Ohio, she was the daughter of Wiliam C. and Laura (Phipps) Abner.
Survivors include three sons, David Roach of Greensburg, Ronnie Roach of Salem and Donnie Roach of Jeffersonville; three daughters, Linda Roach of Indianapolis, Connie Carrol of Shelbyville and Joyce Roach of Arizona; one brother, David Abner of Shelbyville; one sister, Mrs. John (Joan) Cooper of Manilla; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Mrs. Abner was a homemaker.
She was a member of St. Paul Christian Church.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Lewis Creek Baptist Cemetery in Shelby County, with the Rev. L.J. Poe officiating.
No visitation will be observed.
