WILSON, Susan 99, of Hamilton, passed away Friday, March 6, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert; brothers, James Chester, Roy, Marvin, Logan, Quentin, Preston Jennings (P.J.) and Daniel Boone, Jr. Hacker; sisters, Maude Hacker-Ledford, Mae Hacker-Ledford, Naomi Hacker-Fields, Eunice Hacker-St. John, Rachel Hacker-Hixon-Clem and Vivian Hacker-Kuhlman. Susan is survived by her sons, Barry Wilson and Nelson (Mary) Logan; daughters, Bonnie Wilson and Pam (David) Vernot; grandchildren, Ben Vernot, Julia (Matt) Brooker, Sarah (Robbie) Saylors and Corey Vernot; great-grandchildren, Elijah, Max and Quinn Brooker; sister, Sylvia Hacker-Lewis and dear friend, Carol Stoudt. Susan enjoyed a long life, caring for her son, Barry and loved gardening, especially her fern garden. The family would like to give special thanks to Susan's caregivers, Sandy Lorenz, Jessie Haddix, Bobbie Marquez and Jackie Glassmeyer; medical team, Dr. Chris Meier and Dr. Deborah Hauger and their staff and the Vitas Hospice team, Dr. Erika Brudzinski, Kelly Woods, Galen Hoffman, Cathy Manning and Brittany Minor. The family will receive friends at the Ivey Funeral Home, 2565 Princeton Road, Hamilton, on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 from 12 pm until 1 pm with funeral services commencing at 1 pm.
