1925 - 2015
VETERAN
Our loving husband and father, Alvin Orville Price, died on March 4, 2015, in Provo Utah, three days before his 90th birthday. He was born on March 7, 1925, to Alvin Erastus Price and Lola Orvilla Post Price and was raised in Tucson, Arizona. He is survived by wife, Carol Lee, three brothers, two sisters, daughters: Cynthia and (Daniel), Alyson and (Brent) and Holly; and son, Troy and (Laurel), 21 grandchildren and 47 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, four siblings and infant, son Tracy Ryan Price.
Alvin served in WWII in the Army Air Corps, served a LDS Church mission to South Africa, graduated from BYU, managed the BYU Creamery, owned and operated Price's Ice Cream Parlor and ran a dairy farm in West Mountain. In his later years, his passion was his green house and garden.
He was kind, caring and generous. He had a contagious laugh and funny sense of humor. He will be loved and missed by all.
Funeral services will be held on March 7, 2015 at Berg Mortuary at 185 East Center Street, Provo, UT, at 11 a.m. We will meet and greet the family from 10 until 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment will be in the Provo City Cemetery.
