Riverside
Dolores Lewis
Services for Dolores Janice Lewis, 74, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the First Christian Church in Riverside. She died Monday of cancer at her Riverside home.
Burial will be private.
Akes Family Funeral Home in Riverside is handling arrangements.
Mrs. Lewis, who was born in Cawker City, Kansas, lived in Riverside 30 years. She was a sales clerk at the Yardstick in Riverside for five years. Previously, she was telephone operator for Pacific Bell in Anaheim for three years and a photographer at Knotts's Berry Farm in Buena Park for six years.
She was a member of the Inland Empire Classic Thunderbirds and of The Antique Auto Club of America. She was a Chicago Cubs fan.
Mrs. Lewis is survived by her husband, Charles, two daughters, Shirlee Lewis of Anaheim and Susie Struckhoff of La Mirada; two sons, Michael of Chino Valley, Arizona, and Brian of Corona; four grandchildren; a brother, A.F. "Sam" McClary of La Sierra, and two sisters, Margie Vandenberg and Joan Hurst, both of Anaheim.
The family suggest memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
