Virginia was born in Sayre, Penn., on March 31, 1921, the daughter of Orrin D. and Lillian Noble Burchim. She married Everett L. Burchim in 1941. Everett passed away in 2006. She retired after several years as a secretary at Philips ECG, Inc. in Seneca Falls in 1981. A member & Past Noble Grand of Winona Rebekah Lodge # 82 of Seneca Falls. Past District Deputy President of Seneca District. Associate member of Clifton Springs Rebekah Lodge # 435. Member of the Officer's and Past Noble Grand Clubs of Winona # 82 and Clifton Springs # 435. Past President of Winona # 82 PNG's Club. Member District Deputy President's Assoc. of Ontario District. Past Assembly Conductor of the Rebekah Assembly of the State of New York. Member of Auxiliary # 25 Ladies Auxiliary Patriarchs Militant of the State of New York. She was Vice President of the Tri County Rainbows Association. Virginia enjoyed the time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
She is survived by a daughter, Cheryl (James) Osborne of Colorado; her grandchildren; and great-grandchildren, Amy (Ted) Beckwith, Sam and Casey, Tisha (Greg) Springer, Cass, Sarah, Silas and Adele, Megan (Kaleb) Demonstoy, Alex and Riley, Michael (Meghan) Osborne, Christina (Bill) Sherwood, Bradley, Aysia, Isaiah and Layla. Melissa (John) Senska, Daelon, Jensun and Autumn, Heidi Burchim-Baker, Gregory, Jevaughna, James, Myesha and Cara Mia. And several great-great grandchildren.
Predeceased besides her husband, is a son Lee E. Burchim ;a sister June Traver and a brother Martin Towner. Arrangement have been entrusted to the Sanderson-Moore Funeral Home, Inc. 32 State St. Seneca Falls.
