Tony Christian Wille Jr. of Big Lake, Texas, died Oct. 6, 2003.
The funeral service was held Oct. 9, 2003 at the First Baptist Church of Big Lake. The Rev. Mr. Bitner officiated.
Wille was preceded in death by his parents, Tony and Julia Wille; daughters Jennifer Wille and Candy Herrell; brother Donald Wille; and sister Betsy Llewellyn.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Mae Wille of Big Lake; son Tony C. Wille of San Antonio; daughter Cyndi Cox and husband Jim of Jacksonville, Fla.; sister Barbara Walker and husband Jack of Seguin; stepsons Donald and Paul Doege; stepdaughters Sharon Lynn McCrohan (memorial #89883399), Barbara Jean Doege and Deborah Ann Mitchell; five grandchildren and eight step-grandchildren.

He was a Navy veteran. Tony was a veterinarian, owned an office in Seguin from 1965-1975 then moved to San Angelo. He worked for the city of San Angelo until 1982, and then moved to Big Lake. He was city secretary for Big Lake. He married Dorothy Mae Jenkins on Nov. 5, 1975, in Seguin. Tony was always busy with his gardening, building tables and benches. He ranched with his brother until 1975. Tony's grandkids affectionately called him "Popeye."
