Born Oct. 4, 1899, in Beverly, Mrs. Hinchee was a daughter of John F. and Irene Cunningham Kelly.
She attended Beverly school and Western Illinois State Teachers College in Macomb, and taught school before marrying. Mrs. Hinchee was a member of Beverly United Methodist Church, where she was pianist, Sunday school teacher, superintendent of the children's department and a member of the United Methodist Women. She was active in the Women's Christian Temperance Union for many years.
On Nov. 3, 1921, she married Elvin S. Hinchee in Quincy. He died Sept. 14, 1990. She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Shirley Kill; six sisters, Verna Pilling, Maude and Maye Hull, Gladys Test, Lois Waters and Ruth Kelly; two brothers, Roy and Lawrence Kelly; a granddaughter, Joyce Henning; and a great-granddaughter.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Loraine (Eunice) Funk and Mrs. Melvin (Eleanor) Henning, both of Liberty; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and a stepgreat-grandchild.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Beverly United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Mound Prairie Cemetery at Beverly. The Kirgan Funeral Home in Barry is handling the arrangements.
Visitation will be held after noon Saturday in the church.
Memorials may be made to the Beverly United Methodist Church or to Barry United Methodist Church.
