Michael S. Sleva, 85, of 40 N. Third St., Saint Clair, died Sunday at Golden Living Centers-York Terrace, Pottsville.
Born March 10, 1929, he was a son of the late Dominic and Mary Franus Sleva.
He worked in the garment industry then became a self-employed painter.
Michael was a member of the former Ss. Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church, Saint Clair, where he enjoyed decorating the church for all holidays.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Loretta Mroz Sleva; a son, Michael Sleva; three sisters; and eight brothers.
Surviving are a sister, Theresa Kurchock, Mill Creek Avenue, Pottsville; and two grandsons, Michael and Matthew Sleva.
