Sandy, UT-Dorian LaVell Carter returned to his Father in Heaven February 27, 2015. Dode, as his friends and family knew him was a loving father, doting grandfather; kind brother and devoted friend. He was loved by those who knew him best.
Dorian was born June 16, 1937 in Shelby, Mt. to John and Mildred Carter. He served in the Northern States Mission. His love for his Father in Heaven was why he could often be found on his knees, in the scriptures, or in the temple. That "something" usually included food, camping, pick-nicks, movies or music - all things he loved as well.
Survived by: daughters; Camille (Jeff), Carey, and Cathy. Grandchildren; Alex, Preston, James, Carter, Chandler, and Carrigan. Four brothers and two sisters. Preceded in death by: Parents, two brothers, and one sister.
