"The Man Who Made the Wooden Toys"
The man who made the wooden toys
Brought joy to many girls and boys.
Some of the girls weren't so young,
Many of the boys lots of fights had won.
I spoke to my mom the other day,
And the car I gave my dad is there to stay.
So you see, it's not just the little girls
and boys that play.
About this man who made the wooden toys,
He knew the master Carpenter.
His life God filled with joy.
So as we say good-bye to Nels,
We know he's gone to a better some place else.
He left two daughters and his wife,
A son-in-law and grandchildren blessed his life.
When the resurrection trumpet blows
Nels will arise and to new heights he will go
