Ruth Elizabeth Anderson was born June 14, 1908 to Andrew and Minnie (Brander) Anderson in Cedar Township, west of Trimont, Minnesota. She received her education in District #34 in Cedar Township and then graduated as Valedictorian of the Class of 1927 in Triumph, Minnesota, the first graduating class of the full four year students.
Ruth was a member of the Evangelical Covenant Church of Trimont. She taught Sunday School, Wednesday, "release time" classes, Vacation Bible School and was a leader for a serving group. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, reading and being with family and friends.
She is survived by two nieces, Eunice and her husband, Richard Erickson of Trimont and Elaine E. Anderson of rural Trimont and two nephews, Lowell and his wife, LaVerne Anderson of Minnetonka, Minnesota, Robert and his wife, Marlene Anderson or rural Trimont, Minnesota; grand-nieces and nephews and great-grand-nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
Ruth was proceeded in death by her parents, brothers, Evald, Alvin and Hjalmer, and sisters, Edith and Esther.
